Genderwise

On-line Good Practise Exchange

This section serves as an on-line exchange on good practise and consists of the following three parts:

• Case studies of practise relating to the three areas of the Genderwise project focus (see project presentation)
  
• Links to reports from the Peer Review Exchange Workshops and relevant websites
  
• An on-line mentoring network of professionals from the Local Action Group who have considerable experience of working in the field of gender equality and therefore are able to offer support and advice to others who are promoting gender equality. Each member of this network has created a professional profile describing his/her main expertise and interests.
  
  Each LAG will undertake a local/regional mapping to identify what measures need to be taken to develop and promote the role of men as change agents. The Local Mapping will provide a general presentation of the local situation and then describe more specific actions and programmes that promote gender equality with a focus of men as agents for change.
