First Transnational workshop

The First transnational workshop has been organised on 18 and 19 September 2013, in Tallinn (Estonia).  The objectives of the workshop were :

• To exchange good practice in relation to actions taken by political parties to increase greater involvement of women. 
• To exchange good practices on using social media to encourage women’s participation in politics. 
• To share ideas for local strategies 
• To identify needs of partners in relation to making effective use of social media tools in their local strategies 

Partners participated with a delegation of 3-4 delegates, made up of local coordinator, members of the party/institution/organisation whose action was brought as case study. 

Two external experts took part to the workshop :

Mel Herdon, presentation on “Key essentials for successful campaigning”

Rosie Campbell, presentation on “Women and political activism: how can we help women to climb the greasy pole?”
