Project Management

The project management has a number of key components:

Central Project Management
Project Steering Group
Local Coordinator


Central Project management
The central project management team is based in Venice and is responsible for the overall strategic management of the project. The central management team will be working very closely with QeC-ERAN, who are one of the project partners. QeC-ERAN will be undertaking a number of key tasks: planning and co-ordination of project steering group meetings; maintenance and development of the project website; co-ordination of project mid-term and end reports and dissemination.

Project Steering Group (PSG)
This will consist of one representative from each partner. The PSG will be responsible for the development and implementation of an agreed action plan to achieve the project goals as well as undertaking regular monitoring of progress against stated targets and outcomes. The project steering group will meet for 3 days at the start of the project and thereafter every six months for 2 days.

Fifth Steering Group Meeting:
The Fifth Steering Group Meeting took place in Venice on 19 April 07 to coincide with the fourth Peer Review Exchange Workshop.

Local Coordinator and Local Development Group
Each partner will appoint a Local Co-ordinator. The role of this person will be:

  • the establishment and maintenance of local cross-sector partnership
  • participation in Steering Group Meetings
  • coordination of local market mapping
  • participation in Peer review
  • coordination of local action learning module
  • coordination of inputs into peer review and development workshop reports.

In addition the Local Co-ordinator will establish a Local Development Group. This will be a cross-sector group of local/regional/national actors who are involved in measures to address the issues underlying this project. This group will meet bi-monthly and provide the vehicle for the effective implementation of the agreed project actions. Furthermore, this group will also identify the delegates who will participate in the peer review exchanges.
