How to join QeC-ERAN?

Who Can Join?

Membership is open to local authorities and NGO's and other non-profit organisations that are involved in urban regeneration.

Members, have to have a commitment to integrated, multi-sectoral and inclusive approaches to urban renewal.


What Services are Included in the Membership Package?

The membership package provides members with the following services:

  • Participation in a Staff Development Programme. This consists of two workshops per year which focus on key EU policy and project /programme management issues. The programme provides its participants with access to key officials from EU institutions as well as other organisations based in Brussels. The fee includes the travel, accommodation (two nights) and subsistence costs for one delegate to participate in two events per year.

  • Provision of a targeted information search service.
  • Assistance in arranging visits to EU Institutions.
  • Free membership of the European Social inclusion Platform (ESIP). This is a platform which focuses on creating links with new member states and accession countries in relation to the theme of social inclusion. Membership will provide members with access to a network of organisations and contacts in the new member states as well as an opportunity to participate in events organised by ESIP at a reduced rate or occasionally free when funding permits it.
  • Support in developing EU projects.

  • A bi-monthly electronic newsflash which provides up-to-date information with respect to network developments; developments at EU level and key publications and calls for proposals.


  • A fortnightly electronic Alert, which highlights key events or publications and consultations issued by the Commission.
  • Access to a customised data and resource base which reflects the interests of the network.
  • Participation in one study tour per year. The study tour is linked to the Annual General Meeting and thus enables active participation in reviewing the work of the network and also agreeing priorities for the forthcoming year. (Please note that the membership fee includes the travel accommodation and subsistence costs for one delegate for three nights).
  • Partner search service to enable members to secure European funding.
  • Advise in relation to European project proposals.
  • Placing of membership profile on the network website.
  • Priority in joining EU projects developed by the network.


What Does it Cost?

Annual membership costs are € 7800 per year (€ 6000 for New Member States and NGOs).
